With a student body of 700, McGill-Toolen Catholic is a premier institution committed to academic excellence in faith-based education. Founded in 1897 under the direction of Bishop John Allen with the support of brothers Arthur and Felix McGill, McGill Institute served as a free Catholic school for boys. In 1973, McGill Institute merged with Bishop Toolen High School, an all-girls Catholic high school founded by Bishop Thomas J. Toolen in 1928. Today, McGill-Toolen Catholic is the only Catholic high school serving Mobile, Alabama.

Under the direction of the School President and Superintendent of Catholic Schools, the Principal is responsible for supporting the Archdiocese of Mobile as it accepts the challenge to participate in Jesus' teaching mission. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced social studies teacher and has taught Advanced Placement courses, specifically AP Human Geography. Applicants should already be trained in teaching AP Human Geography or willing to attend appropriate training during the summer.
The teaching duties for this position are anticipated to be 9th-12th grade social studies, including AP Human Geography and US History II. The Business Office of Montgomery Catholic PreparatorySchool is seeking to hire an executive assistant and billing andcollections employee. Position responsibilities include (i)assisting the school president with a variety of administrativetasks, (ii) supporting the school’s business office by performingtuition and fee billing and collection processes, (iii) supportingthe school’s admissions director by assisting families withenrollment contract completion and class rosters, and (iv)supporting student families in identifying and completing variousfinancial assistance and scholarship applications.
Job Requirements
The successful applicant will have prior experience working as a billing manager or accounts receivable manager and be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and work successfully in a team environment. It is also essential that the applicant have a good working knowledge and skills in utilizing technology tools, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), general ledger accounting and billing and collections software.
