Each of our schools determines its own tuition. If you need financial assistance for tuition, please contact the school directly for application information.
Scholarship Granting Organizations
The K-12 Alabama Educational Scholarship Program was begun with the passage of the 2013 Alabama Accountability Act, which enabled the creation of Scholarship Granting Organziations. The monies awarded from these organizations, commonly referred to as "SGO Scholarships", provide tuition assistance to families to help cover the cost of private school tuition. All Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Mobile accept these tax credit scholarships. For a list of all the Scholarship Granting Organizations in Alabama, click here. Check with the SGO of your choice to find out their requirements and application deadlines. Additional questions may be directed to the Alabama Catholic School of your choice, or to Jennifer Tolbert, Director of Advancement for Catholic Schools, at [email protected].
Alabama Opportunity Scholarship Fund
The Alabama Opportunity Scholarship Fund (AOSF) was established in 2013 and provides scholarships to low-income, K-12 children funded by the donation of corporate and individual Alabama income tax liability. AOSF believes every Alabama child has an equal opportunity to a quality education, which can only occur when educators and local communities are empowered to create diverse learning options and all parents are empowered to match their children to the learning option that best meets their needs. This is a wonderful opportunity for students in the Archdiocese of Mobile to receive the gift of a Catholic Education. Please visit their website at alabamascholarshipfund.org to review the eligibility requirements and apply for a scholarship. Should the application window be closed, please complete their Interest Form to be notified as soon as additional scholarships become available.
Other Opportunities
A search for K-12 scholarships on the web can provide information on scholarships offered through other third-party associations, foundations and corporations. Examples include, but are not limited to:
"I would urge people to consider directing some of their personal state income tax to the Alabama Scholarship Fund. It benefits our entire community." - Most Reverend Thomas J. Rodi, Archbishop of Mobile
